The Kenwood TH-225A follows on the success of the TH-215A and also has a large easy-to-read LCD, 10 channel memory and scanning. Extended receive is 141-163 MHz to include the NOAA weather frequencies. When used on external DC power you will get a full 6 watts output. With the PB-1/12 you get 5 watts, with the PB-2, 2.5 watts and 1.5 watts with the PB-3/4. The low power setting is 0.5 watts.
Size: 2.65 x 6.9 x 1.5 inches 1.2 lbs. (67x190x37mm 600g). Supplied accessories include flexible BNC antenna, PB-12 battery, wall charger, DC cable and dust caps.
